General Overview

Our home is a recently built family home with 4 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and lots of living, lounging and dining space. We are well set up to host families with small children (we have a playroom and a finished basement, as well as a garage with scooters, bikes, wagons, strollers and beach toys!). Our backyard includes two lovely decks with lots of seating, a grill, and dining space. We live on a cul-de-sac with six other houses. All of the families have children around the same age and it is a very safe and happy space for them to play outside together.

The Space

One primary bedroom with king bed ensuite double bathroom and large walk-in shower. Three bedrooms share other full bathroom. Bedroom 1 has a queen bed, bedroom 2 has a double bed, and bedroom 3 has two twin beds. We have a laundry room upstairs near the bedrooms with washer and dryer. Downstairs you will find a full dining room, playroom, living room, and kitchen and half bath. There is a deck off the kitchen with a dining table that seats six and a sofa and two lounge chairs with fire pit table. In the basement you will find another living/sitting area with a large sectional sofa and a second TV. Outside the basement there is another deck, with another dining table/firepit for six and more lounging space. There is also an outdoor TV.

Neighbourhood

We are less than two miles to downtown Beverly, where you will find beaches, restaurants, coffee shops and bakeries. North of us is Gloucester, Essex, Ipswich - all beautiful New England towns that have many beaches, conservation lands for walks, and great dining options. There are lots of opportunities to get out on boats like whale watches and other charters. We are next door to Salem, famous for its witch history.

Getting to my home

We are a 40 minute drive from Boston Logan International Airport. Easy access to Ubers / taxis, but best to rent a car to explore the beautiful area!

Getting Around

Recommend having a car. Can walk to train station (1 mile) to get into downtown Boston in 40 minutes. Depending on our travel arrangements, we usually have a car that we are comfortable sharing with our PLU guests.
