Our home is a beautiful 138-year old two-storey house located in a quiet neighborhood about a 10 minute walk from downtown Charlottetown. We have a private, fenced-in yard, and parking in the driveway for two cars.
We are a family of artists and musicians and our home is filled with artwork, unique elements, and a piano in the living room. We've owned the house for 11 years and love it very much - we hope you will too!
A great spot to have as your home base while you visit PEI's amazing beaches (the south shore is about an 8 minute drive, and the north shore 20 minutes), and enjoy the many restaurants, galleries, and theatres in Charlottetown. We can have beach towels, a beach umbrella, and bikes available upon request as well.
Summer is often when people come to PEI, but we're also open to travellers who want to experience beautiful fall colours and hiking, or our many amazing cross-country ski trails in winter!
Many visitors who come to the Island for the first time wind up either moving here or coming every year - so, you were warned! :)
The space
The fenced-in backyard has deck furniture for sitting & relaxing, and even though we're downtown, you can see the stars on a clear night and many birds come to visit our maple trees and birdbath.
The house is open concept on the main level. There are two bedrooms upstairs, one with a single loft bed and one with a queen bed. There is a small bathroom and laundry on the main level and a full bath with bathtub upstairs.
For sleeping, there is a single loft-bed, and a queen bed. If you have a 4th person in your group, we have a comfortable sectional couch and an air mattress. The living room has a sliding door so it can be closed off for privacy.
Guest access
2 floors, with stairs to enter the house at the the front door and stairs to get to the second level. The bathrooms are not wheelchair accessible.
Notes
We have a cat so there is fur around, please note for allergies! He won’t be here while you are though :)

Charlottetown is the closest airport, or,
for more flight options and often better flight prices, you can fly into Halifax (4 hour drive) or Moncton (2 hour drive) and rent a car.

We are a family of 4 - me, my husband, our 9 year old child, and our beloved cat. We have dual citizenship Canada/Italy and we love to travel and experience new landscapes and cultures. I’m a visual artist & yoga teacher; my husband is a musician & sound engineer; and our daughter enjoys horse riding, art, basketball, and bike riding. We all love to be peaceful & be in quiet, natural settings as much as possible.
