General Overview

Our home is a beautiful 2 level home with mid-century features. Lots of light, open layout, so much wood! We live in the Hudson Valley which is a beautiful area north of NYC between the Berkshires and the Catskills. Our home would be perfect if you are outdoorsy but also want to day trip into nyc. Would also be perfect for anyone who wants to look at colleges— we are across the street from Vassar, 5 mins from Marist, 20 mins from SUNY New Paltz, and 35 mins from Bard. We are also within 10 minutes of the Culinary Institute of America which is an incredible place to visit— also has its own restaurants, and many restaurants nearby are staffed by CIA graduates.

The Space

We have 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms available for guests. The house is extremely spacious (3500 square feet). Big beautiful windows, tons of light, plants, etc. Very cozy. Multiple balconies in the house to relax outside on a lounge chair or drink a cup of coffee (we have a high end espresso machine) or grill outside. Fire pit outside and fireplace inside

We are train accessible from NYC

Nearest airport

1 hour from Westchester airport, 1.5 hours from Albany. We typically use the NYC airports (2 hours) as there are more flights. You can get to the NYC airport by train

Getting Around

You can bike (5 mins) or walk (15-20 mins) to local shops in the Arlington/ vassar area. Most people in this area use a car to get around— towns are great but spread out, and you need a car to get to the good hiking spots in the Catskills
