The space
Our home is a renovated 1950's bungalow. It is bright and airy and decorated in a modern french country style. It is a 2 level house with no rental suite.
The main floor is open concept with a gourmet kitchen, large island, handcrafted farmhouse dining table with 6 chairs. The open concept continues to the living-room. Have a seat on our large sectional sofa to watch a movie or enjoy the fireplace and the peak-a-boo view of the local ski mountains.
The main floor deluxe bathroom has heated marble floors, large mirror, and a glass enclosed walk-in shower with 3 heads. No need to visit the Spa while you are here!
Master bedroom has a queen bed and a large built in closet. When you need to sleep, pull the blackout blinds down and enjoy falling asleep in peace and waking up to sweet birds chirping.
Downstairs you will find 2 bedrooms plus a bathroom with heated floors, 2 sinks, bathtub and shower. There is also a large rec-room for watching movies, hanging out, playing games or working out. The sectional sofa is very large and one person could sleep comfortably on it. It would be slightly bigger than a single bed. Bedding is provided for the extra person.
Feel free to use the Peloton bike and weights.
The backyard oasis is the most perfect place to relax and unwind after a busy day exploring the city. Enjoy the large deck with cozy new lounge furniture under a big umbrella. You will love using the natural gas Webber bbq and fire table. Need to soak your muscles after a ski day or walking to explore our beautiful city and parks? We have an outdoor 6 person hot tub waiting for you. Wait for sun to go down and enjoy the sitting under the starts and some string lights. It is peaceful and magical.

We are a family of 4. My husband and I with our two teenagers girls. ( 12&16). We love to travel and explore new places together..
We have lived in this house for 11 years and love our neighbourhood. My husband is a shoemaker and avid mountain biker. ( ask for trail tips!) We are looking to experience new places authentically and hope we can make an exchange with family who will love our home and city as much as we do!
People Like Us is the world's most trusted home exchange community. We believe in sharing, trust, generosity, respect, communication, equality, cooperation, honesty, hospitality, friendship, flexibility and adventure. We take pride in our homes and we care about the environment in which we live: our village, city, country and our planet. We care about the ethos of home exchange and we do it because we love the experience and the friendships that it generates.
