General overview
Our holiday home is in the quaint little town Derby, Tasmania. Primarily most visitors come for the well renowned mountain biking trails 'Blue Derby' which are at our doorstep. But there is so much more to offer in this region of NE Tasmania. We have beautiful walking trails, lakes, restaurants, wineries, a pub, pizza shop and brewery in town. Also the famous Floating Sauna Derby is within 15 mins walk away on the nearby Lake Derby. You can walk around the lake, swim or fish for trout as well. We are close to some of the most stunning beaches on the east coast where you will likely have them to yourself! If your into Golf, world renowned Barnbougle golf course is only 40 mins away.
Our holiday home is newly built with all the mod cons you would expect. Warm in the winter with a wood fireplace and under floor heating. Fabulous outdoor deck with bbq and stunning views. With so many 5 star reviews from our guests, with many returning each year I’m sure you will love your time here too.
The space
3 large bedrooms, can sleep up to 9. One bedroom with a king bed and a king single bed with ensuite. Another with a king bed or can be split into singles and the third bedroom with 2 king single beds and a king single bunk.
The second bathroom has a bath, seperate shower and cozy underfloor heating when needed.
Laundry with a third toilet, washing machine and dryer.
The main living area is vast, with high vaulted ceilings, open plan kitchen and dining space. As well as a second lounge room with a desk and another tv.
Guest access
The house is on one level, however there are stairs up to the front deck and front door. Once you arrive we have keyless access and will supply you with a door code.

Getting around
We suggest you hire a car from the airport or drive over from the mainland Australia on 'The Spirit Of Tasmania' Ferry to Devonport, Tasmania. However once here in Derby you can walk or ride everywhere. There are bike hire businesses in town that will help set you up with everything you need to explore the trail network.
