Situated 7km from the medieval town of St. Antonin Noble Val, Villa Cadourel sits in a secluded spot down a country lane.
The space
The house is large and spacious with 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. It is modern, light and airy. It has a large garden and swimming pool and is surrounded by flower meadows and woodland.
Guest access
The villa is 2 storey, stairs to the 1st floor. There are three steps from the open plan kithen/dining room to the sitting room.
There is a short flight of steps outside leading to the property.

Neighbourhood
In the village/small town of St. Antonin Noble Val you will find: Boulangerie, Pharmacy, Supermarket, Cafe/Bars, Restaurants, Doctor, Dentist, Post Office, Banks, Craft Shops, Garage etc and most importantly the wonderful market every Sunday. The area is very tranquil and peaceful. The undulating wooded countryside is ideal for hiking and cycling. The river Averyron runs through St. Antonin, here you can kayak, paddle board etc. There are Vide Greniers (antique markets) to be found in the local villages at weekends where you can pick up a bargain.
A short drive takes you to wine growing country where you can visit many Chateaux and wine producers who provide wine tasting opportunities. A few kilometres from St. Antonin you can visit the castles of the hill top medieval villages of Penne and Bruniquel. Other local villages of note are Najac, Cordes sur ciel, Puy Celcei and the walled medieval town of Carcassonne.
Getting to my home
Car hire is available at all the airports. There are direct trains from Paris etc. There are train stations nearby at Lexos and Caussade. We would be more than happy to collect you from either of these stations.

The region is served by several airports, Toulouse, Rodez, Limoge, Bergerac, Bordeaux, Carcassonne.
Getting around
Bikes are available at the villa for your use. If you wished to only stay local it is easy enough to cycle to St. Antonin for groceries etc.
If you wish to venture further afield you would need a car.

Hi, We are Robert and Annette, we are retired English couple who have lived in the South West of France for 23 years.
We have not exchanged before, however we used to rent this villa as a gite/holiday home so are well used to hosting guests.
