General overview

Trelawney Cottage is one of our small group of professionally operated vacation rentals. We live on the same site in a seperate house. Trelawney has two bedrooms, lots of light, and a private rear deck area looking towards Llangattock Mountain. If you need a dog-free property we have another cottage (Oaktree) we could offer. We are experienced exchangers and are having a look at PLU …possibly will do a premium subscription.

The space

We are in a beautiful location with great views and a quiet setting. walkable to Crickhowell - an exceptional small town with mostly independant shops and pubs. Thee are canal side, riverside and mountain walks from the door.

Guest access

Single storey.

Notes

We have several cottages at The Neuadd so please feel free to ask if for instance you would like different bedroom configurations or you would like dog-free accommodation.

Neighbourhood

Our site is slightly elevated on the side of the Usk Valley with lovely views of the Black Mountains and into the Brecon Beacons. We are in a National Park and one of the closest properties to the Craig Y Cilau National Nature Reserve. We have a mown path leading through our wild flower meadow leading to a quiet lane into the village. The village pub is a short walk and we are close to the historic Mon & Brec Canal (great for level walks). Crickhowell (our local town) is walkable and was recently voted best high street in the Uk due to its independent shops, cafes and pubs. (So many towns in the UK have become homogeneous due to large retail brands, but Crickhowell remains mostly independent and with a love of good quality).
