Our home is a ranch style home in a quiet suburban neighborhood on half an acre of land, 10 minutes from the beach, and the Indian river.
Sebastian is a small town feel with friendly people, beautiful nature and wildlife. The Pelican Island Wildlife Preserve, the first preserve founded in the US is in Sebastian, providing a haven for exotic wildlife.
There is a growing community of wonderful restaurants on the Indian River waterfront which is also 10 minutes from our home.
The space
My home is a sacred retreat for me. It is newly renovated and furnished, with an open floor plan, cathedral ceiling, and a beautiful open kitchen with an island with granite countertops and all new appliances. The island serves as a breakfast bar with two comfortable stools to serve as an eating area in addition to the dining rom table that seats 6.
The living room is part of that space and has an L shaped couch a fireplace and tv.
The bedrooms are separated on each side of the house so there is privacy. Each bedroom has ample closet space.
The third bedroom is set up as a den and has a comfy couch with chaise, that opens into a queen size bed with a topper which makes it as comfortable as a regular bed.
The den has a 50 inch tv, an antique writing desk, a wall of mirrored closets, and a plush carpet.
The master bedroom has an en suite bathroom with a large shower, and the 2nd bedroom has a an adjoining bathroom with a deep bathtub.
It also has an entrance from the hallway.
There is a florida room with a small desk , comfy couch, and sliding doors that lead to a beautiful tiled patio with outdoor furniture, a gas grill, and a large park like yard with sitting areas, gardens and fruit trees. A private haven with high fences that backs up on a conservation area filled with greenery.
Guest access
There are no stairs in the home, it is all one floor. There is a slight lip leading into the Florida room and down into the den

Neighbourhood
It is a beautiful quiet haven in a quiet suburban neighborhood with friendly people.
The house is 10 minute ride by car to the ocean, and a 10 minute ride to the Indian river where there are some wonderful restaurants and bars with live music by the water.
Disney World is about 1 1/2 hrs away as is Orlando. Vero Beach is 20 minutes away, and Melbourne is about 30 minutes by car. Both have major shopping areas and wonderful restaurants.
Getting to my home
The best way to come is by car as there isn't much public transport around.
Nearest airport
Melbourne International is 30 min away, Orlando International is an hour and a half. Vero a small regional airport is 10 min.
Getting around
A car is required in this area as there is little public transportation. The one exception is the little trolley that provides rides in the town.
