Bonne's place was just perfect for our trip to NYC. First, it's an adorable place and second it's clean, functional and well located for so much of what there is to explore in the city. We were able to meet Bonne and she was incredibly helpful with tips for the apartment as well as the area (dining, bagels etc.) She was just a text away the whole time we were there.
If you're looking for a comfortable place to stay, steps away from Central Park and well located for the subway and great food, Bonne's place is for you.
Bonne has a beautiful home, located conveniently near the subway. I was happy to be her first exchange experience :)
She went out of her way to make me feel welcome, super last minute too, and I was excited it worked out!
Bonne was an excellent guest at our Portland home while we were away on a trip to Europe. My only regret is not being able to meet her in person. Communication was great before and during her three week stay. The house was in perfect order upon our return. We look forward to spending time at her home in NYC in 2026. Hopefully we'll meet then!
Bonne is an absolute dream guest. From the moment we "met" via FaceTime, she inspired trust. Throughout the whole process, she was the most communicative, conscientious, pleasant and thoughtful guest we could have hoped for. She left our house spotless (and I'm particular!) and took great care of our kitty Maya, sending us pics and updates, which we appreciated so much. (Maya usually gets mad at us for leaving, but this time she was happy as can be because clearly she'd been well loved.)
We feel so lucky that we had such a flawless exchange with Bonne. We'd have her back in a heartbeat. Thanks for everything Bonne!
Bonne and her mother were exceptional guests! Bonne had outstanding communication and left the house in pristine condition.! We would be delighted to welcome Bonne back to our home at any time!
Nancy and Brock were wonderful hosts — everything was well organized with excellent communication throughout. I spent quite a bit of time in Portland and can confidently say their neighborhood was my favorite! There are so many charming streets to walk and explore, and it’s just minutes from Washington Park and Forest Park with endless trails and beautiful nature. I was there height of fall foliage-Breathtaking!
The house itself is clean, artful, and spacious — it has that warm, classic old-home feel but with all the modern updates you could want (including a brand-new kitchen!). I felt completely at home and would happily stay again. I loved taking a warm bath and looking out at the stars. I was so appreciative of how well things were organized and written out. If I ever had a question, I could simply refer to the handout. Such kind hosts too. Really grateful for this exchange in every way!
Excellent and easy to communicate with! Left everything super clean-above and beyond. Such easy and kind guests!
Karen and her family have definitely raised the bar for hosting! My trip was an effortless one, thanks to their kindness and preparation before my visit!
They have created a beautiful home and I feel so lucky to have been hosted by such thoughtful hosts. The house was so clean and clearly designed with an artistic eye.
Wonderful location. Comfortable but impressive minimal decor with an openness feel. My favorite part was having breakfast (homemade granola and muffins made by Karen!) on the balcony and looking out to the mountain views.
I came to do some hiking, and the areas nearby did not disappoint! At the end of the day I always looked forward to coming back to their home, turning on the fireplace, and settling in for the night.
Their cat, Maya was easy to watch and super sweet and snuggly. Almost made me want a cat!
You could tell everything was carefully organized and cleaned for an easy guest visit.
I appreciated the wonderfully organized and thorough house book complete with recommendations and instructions for appliances. (with colored pictures to boot!)
I would most definitely stay again!!
Wow Bonne, thanks for the amazing feedback! We are so glad you enjoyed your stay in our home. We absolutely loved having you as a guest. You're welcome back any time! P.S. Maya misses you. :-)
Lovely home! Everything was clean and homey. Rebecca gave lots of great recommendations and was super easy to communicate with. Everything was organized and well thought out. Loved the area. So many cute quaint places to visit. Nice comfy well made beds with soft linens (kinda my thing). Clean, quiet and spacious. We didn't use the fun things like the hot tub and pool table, but it was fun knowing we could! In a quiet neighborhood close to many cute towns like Beacon, New Paltz, Cold Spring, etc. Lots of good hiking nearby! Would love to come back in the fall to see the leaves!
Great guest. Easy to communicate with and left my home well cared for,
