General overview

Bright and open, minimalist plantation style home in Upcountry Maui. Near constant breezes keep it cool and comfortable without air conditioning. Partial ocean view. Convenient location close to everything Maui has to offer which is a lot :) 2 mins to Foodland Grocery Store, Public park with outdoor saline community pool, 15 mins to Costco, 15 mins to Amazing North Shore beaches, 25-30 mins to South Maui, 40 mins to Lahaina, 25 mins to multiple waterfall hikes. The best fresh produce and locally made goods are available every Saturday morning at the best farmer's market on island, only a 5 min drive.

The space

Our home is 3BR, 2BA + office (we will keep this locked). We have a two car garage converted into a fully-equipped crossfit style gym with squat rack, airbike, rowing machine, treadmill, etc... Minimalist home with comfortable furniture, well-equipped kitchen, charcoal BBQ, hotel quality mattresses (Montessori Style floor beds). Master bedroom has a king bed and a crib/toddler bed. Bedroom two has a king bed. Third bedroom has a queen bed. We also have a queen size extra thick air mattress that can be set up. Lanai for enjoying your morning coffee and backyard with BBQ, kids play equipment.

Guest access

Have to walk up a short set of stairs to enter, so unfortunately not equipped for wheel-chair access.

Notes

We love our home and like to keep it simple so we can spend more time enjoying life with our kids.

Neighbourhood

Not a walkable neighborhood, however stores and restaurants (and some really great food trucks) are a short drive away, as well as our local park with amazing views, a clean and beautiful public pool (saline), tennis courts and walking track. We are in the Lower Part of Upcountry, 15 mins to the North Shore and Main town Kahului with Costco and all the other big box stores.

Getting to my home

Need a car as you can't walk anywhere from here.

Adventurous and conscientious family of 5, living on Maui, Hawaii. We love the good and simple life. BBQing with friends... Being active, exploring nature and savoring new experiences with our two daughters and now infant son. My husband and I grew up in Canada, and now are blessed to live and raise our children on the island of Maui, one of the most beautiful places in the world. We love to visit friends and family in Washington and British Columbia and are excited to visit some new places as well. We have a low maintenance senior German Shepherd dog and would love to swap with dog-lovers who wouldn't mind looking after our pup. He gets one 30-45 min walk/day at the park near our house, and fed 1X/day in the afternoon/evening (raw diet). He's well trained, friendly and amazing with kids.
