General overview

A cozy home with an stunning view over the mountains and the village. Perfect for hiking, bicycling, skiing (both downhill and cross country). The house have a large porch. Inside, the heart of the house is a fireplace with glas on 3 sides.

The space

First floor: Kitchen, dining area, living room with tv, entrance with wardrobe and bathroom. Second floor: 4 bedrooms, all with queen or king beds. Work area in the biggest bedroom. Bathroom and laundry.

Guest access

2 floors. No elevator. There is no bedrooms on the first floor, and is therefor not well-accessed for wheelchairs. Car can be used if needed in some of the aviable time.

Notes

Can be suitable for infants, but as per now I have not any equipment as bed or own chair for feeding. Let me know if this is something you want, I guess we could sort it out :)

Neighbourhood

It’s mostly a calm neighbourhood in a farming area. With that in mind, it will be noisy some periods of the year with seasonial tasks on my farm or the neighbour. The house is located between several mountains perfect for activities summer and winter. 70 km to Hafjell, 35 km to Kvitfjell, 20 km to Gålå and 5-6 km to the closest cross country tracks. You are also close to two of the Norwegian natinoal parks; Jotunheimen with Norways highest mountain, and Rondane. The trips you can take are unlimited! The village Vinstra holds about 2600 people. It has several stores, shops and restaurants, so you dont have to travel long distances to get what you need. This is also the home village of the well known Peer Gynt by Henrik Ibsen, it says that he lived in the neighbour house from mine.

Getting to my home

From Oslo airport the easiest way is with train or bus to Vinstra station. From there it is about 2,5 km to the house, so you need a taxi or acess to a car. You can also rent a car in Oslo airport.

Oslo airport 227 km, and Værnes airport 305 km.

Getting around

2 km from the nearest grocery store. You need a car to get around.
