Neighbourhood
Quiet neighborhood. The lake is a few dozen meters from the front door, a safe little shore, water deepens gradually. In winter, the possibility to make an "avanto".

A rental car is a must so you can go and see the places you want!
From Helsinki-Vantaa airport, train connections work well here to Punkaharju, but here you need a car if you want to travel internally and visit different places. Local public transport is weak.

Grocery shops, gas station, a small cafe, a pharmacy and a railway stop about 1 kilometer away.
Nearest town is Savonlinna, it takes a half an hour drive / 40 km. Local train goes to Savonlinna and back few times a day.
