General Overview

Great central location in downtown Penticton, the City between two lakes with a population of approximately 35,000 people.  Penticton is a very scenic town surrounded by  mountains in a dry semi-desert region of Canada, the Okanagan Valley.    The Condo is walking distance to everything... restaurtants, theatre, shopping, the Main St, beach, tennis, marina, nightclubs even golf! (Penticton Golf and Country Club).  Renowned wine touring area surrounds the picturesque town. The condo has a large 200 sq. ft deck with sweeping views of the city and mountains.  I'm a retired vacation rental business owner/manager (www.okanaganvacationrentals.ca)

1 bedroom with 1 queen bed plus a small den where a single bed can be set up if you would like.

Condo is on the 5th floor. Access by elevator or stairs.

Notes

Apex Mountain, the local ski hill is just 30 min drive from the condo for downhill and crosscountry skiing, skating, snowshoeing, tubing.  Apex mountain is famous for having no line ups yet a diverse range of ski runs from beginner to double black diamond challenging runs.

Neighbourhood

Vibrant neighbourhood in downtown Penticton.  Many festivals and events throughout the year.  Farmer's market takes place right outside the building every Sat in summer.  In Winter you can enjoy scenic walks, a lively theatre community, concerts at the South Okanagan Events Centre, Western Hockey League games featuring the Penticton Vees, skiing and winter activities at Apex Mountain Ski Resort.

Getting to my home

Fly to Penticton.  5 min cab ride from airport.  Or can fly to the neighbouring city of Kelowna which is a 1 hour drive to the condo.  There is a bus to Penticton as well as taxi and uber.

Getting Around

Shops, restaurants, groceries, theatre, South Okanagan Event Centre, Penticton Vees Hockey games... everything is within walking distance of the condo.  There is also a bus stop right outside the building.
