Neighbourhood

Bexley is a small (10k people) urban suburb confined to a one mile square radius. Columbus is the state capital of Ohio and Ohio is the state known for being "The Heart of it All." You will find neighbors walking with or without dogs, jogging and biking often and always saying "Hi!". We are close to many parks and playgrounds and a very extensive bike path. Bexley has several coffee shops, ice cream shops, yoga studios, an amazing gym, and delicious restaurants. Bexley is home to Capital University. In the summer, there are an overwhelming amount of community activities- especially for kids! Our recreational department has wonderful programming for kids, including summer day camp and a top notch learn-to-swim program. The local pool is a must in the summer and is walkable/bike-able from our house. Our neighborhood is an incredibly idyllic place to raise a family. There is lots of green space and parks and kids having the freedom to be kids in our kid centric neighborhood. Columbus, the capital of our state, is located within a 500 mile radius of 2/3 of the US population. This means it is a GREAT base to explore the east coasts and middle west of the US. Also very easy trips to Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean from Columbus (CMH!). We are 8 minutes from the airport and our little town is located within a walkable/bike-able 1 square mile radius.

Getting around

Bexley is walkable and bikeable. There is an okay bus system that can get you the short 5 minutes to downtown and beyond. Guests can have access to one or more of our cars.
