General Overview

Our home is in Chevy Chase, Washington DC -- a special, family-friendly neighborhood with some of the prettiest homes in the city, walkable to trails and hiking in Rock Creek Park, and close to great restaurants, shops and an independent bookstore and theater. We're a 20-minute drive to downtown, or you can take the Metro trains (we're about 1.5 miles from the closest stop, and closer to bus routes). We've put a lot of love into our home, which has an upstairs deck and downstairs patio for outdoor dining or lounging, and even a skateboard ramp in the backyard (where our chihuahua likes to sun-bathe). It's laid out over 4 levels -- on the downstairs level (which leads out to the backyard), we have an eat-in kitchen, a separate dining room, bathroom, and a piano where my son and I tap out tunes. Main level has our family room, another small dining table, and a guest bedroom (with full bath). Upstairs, we have a master bedroom/bath with spa tub/shower and a King-sized bed or two twins, a bedroom with twin bed, and another full bathroom. The top floor would be closed off to guests. We love it here, and hope you will, too!
