Neighbourhood
Our Neighborhood: Historic Graça
Graça is the second oldest neighborhood in Lisbon (right after Alfama!), making it the absolute perfect place to experience the authentic, day-to-day rhythm of local Portuguese life.
Dining & Groceries: You will find an abundance of wonderful bakeries, coffee shops, and restaurants—serving both traditional Portuguese and international cuisine—just a stone's throw away, along with convenient grocery stores if you prefer to cook at home.
Everyday Essentials: Everything you need is right around the corner, including banks and pharmacies.
Getting Around: Public transit is incredibly easy to access, with tram and bus stops located just one block from the apartment.
Nearest airport
Nearest Airport
Quick & Easy: Lisbon Airport (LIS) is incredibly close! It is only a 15 to 20-minute ride to our apartment.
Affordable Rides: We highly recommend grabbing an Uber or Bolt from the airport. Fun fact: Lisbon has some of the cheapest ride-share fares in all of Western Europe!
Pickup Pro-Tip: When you order your ride at the airport, the app will direct you to a specific pickup point called the "Smile & Go" parking lot, which is conveniently located right near the departure area.
Getting Around
Getting Around
The Famous Cobblestones: Lisbon is known all over the world for its beautiful, traditional polished stone sidewalks. However, they do come with a little catch! ;)
Pack the Right Shoes: Because those gorgeous stones can be quite slippery—especially on rainy days—we highly recommend bringing comfortable walking shoes with a good grip sole so you can explore the city safely and comfortably.
