We have an apartment with garden on the southern border of Milan. We are in an unusual place because it feels like being in the countryside. It is a place to relax after an intense day of sightseeing!
The space
The apartment is on the ground floor in a condominium of 8 apartments. It is a building from 1900. You enter from the garden where there is an area equipped with table and chairs, a barbecue and a 3x2m swimming pool. The garden is very green! You enter the house from the living room which is divided from the kitchen by a half wall. it is a very bright house. On the same floor there is the bedroom and the main bathroom. In the basement there is another small bathroom, the washing machine and the dryer.
Guest access
Unfortunately, the house is difficult to access for people in wheelchairs because there is a difference in height of about 50cm to enter the house.
Notes
We have 4 cats that stay at home. They come and go, they have their door on the stairs. it is necessary to feed them and put fresh water at least once a day.
For families of up to two children I can provide two more beds.

Neighbourhood
The neighborhood is very quiet, we are in the middle of nature. There are no services very close (a part from a bar and a pharmacy), but you can get there quickly.
Getting to my home
The closest metro stop is Famagosta, line 2. Then you take bus 46.
Nearest airport
The closest airport is Linate which is connected to the house by subway + bus, or Malpensa which is connected to Milan by train.
Getting around
There is the metro 10 minutes walk away or you can get there by bus which runs every 20 minutes. In front of the house there is the cycle path that runs throughout Milan. In about 20 minutes walking or 10 by bicycle you arrive in the Navigli area.
My name is Micaela, I am 46 years old and my son is called Mattia and he is 12 years old. We like to travel and we do it as much as we can! This is the first time I've thought about a home exchange, I think it could be a way to move around more. We have 4 cats that stay at home, so we need people who are available to feed them.
People Like Us is the world's most trusted home exchange community. We believe in sharing, trust, generosity, respect, communication, equality, cooperation, honesty, hospitality, friendship, flexibility and adventure. We take pride in our homes and we care about the environment in which we live: our village, city, country and our planet. We care about the ethos of home exchange and we do it because we love the experience and the friendships that it generates.
