General overview
Classic DC rowhouse in Petworth, with a fenced backyard and front porch. Built about 100 years ago, and renovated in 2001, the house is characterful and comfortable. Central A/C, cozy radiator heat; hardwood floors; comfortable, uncluttered decor. Fully equipped kitchen. W/D in basement.
No car is required, as there’s easy access to public transportation, with shops, restaurants, and grocery stores within walking distance. If you bring a car, our block has free street parking.
You can work from home comfortably with high-speed internet / wifi and two separate dedicated workspaces.
The space
Living room, kitchen and one workspace are on the ground floor. Bedrooms, bathroom and second workspace are upstairs.
It's not suitable for toddlers or kids, as it's not babyproofed. Older kids / teens are fine.
As there are 2 bedrooms but only one bathroom, it's available for 2 people max. Or perhaps a couple and a kid.
Guest access
2-stories plus a basement. Our back garden is fully fenced-in, with poles for a hammock.
Notes
I have a cat, so bonus if you can catsit while you're here!

I'm a responsible, caring, and quiet non-smoker who loves traveling. My house in Washington, DC, has lots of native perennials in the backyard and an herb garden in the front yard. I work remotely as a web content editor and podcast producer.
