Neighbourhood
Berrara is a quiet village nestled between national park, creek/lagoon and beaches. Gravel roads (with marked cycle routes) and marked walking tracks in the national park are easily accessed from the house. The creek is a great location for kayaking - take a picnic or a fishing rod.
Sussex Inlet and St Georges Basin are 10 minutes away. You can hire a boat and explore the extensive waterways.
Jervis Bay and many other lovely areas are 20-30 minutes away.
Getting to my home
Berrara is 2.5 hours from Sydney on good roads. Public transport is limited.
Nearest airport
Sydney Airport about 2.5 hours drive, Canberra also less than 3 hours.
Getting around
Most shopping is a drive away, so we like to stock up on good food to enjoy at the house. There are many good places to eat, markets and interesting shops within a half hour drive, Berry, Milton, and Narrawallee are well known. Roads are generally good and not busy.
We have bushwalking maps and touring guides for the area at the house.
We'll send you heaps of tips and hints for the time of year you are visiting.
