General Overview

It's a home to our diverse and blended multi generational family. Kids stay with us half the time and we have 2 adorable dogs, a shihtzhu and an Aussie shepherd. 

We have 5 comfortable bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms on 2 levels of the home. 
A lovely front and backyard to enjoy your evenings at, BBQ or just lounge and read a book or enjoy a drink on the porch or the sunroom.
 
Parking for 4 cars in our driveway

The Space

You'll find the home comfortably furnished with everything a family needs. 
Fresh linens and towels will be provided for your stay. 
We have 2 TVs and a Wii for kids.

2 of our daughters' bedrooms have single beds - one opens up to become a full queen bed too.

We have toys and a girly room too for your little princess too if you have one.  :)
And I have a son so there's a boys room too :)

The kitchen is well stocked and equipped with all appliances, Jura coffee maker, toaster etc. 

You are welcome to use what is in our cabinets in the kitchen.

Guest Access

It's a split level home on 3.5 levels. 
A bungalow style home with 3 bed rooms that are about 3 steps up from the main level, and 2 bedrooms downstairs. 
A family room is soon to be ready by September end 2024 where you can work from if you need to work, or enjoy movies and television with Netflix etc

There's wifi.

If you are ok with pets we would be happy to leave 1 or 2 of the doggies at home otherwise we will house them somewhere.

Pls this is a NO smoking home.  My mother has asthma so it's very impt that you not smoke here pls.
No drugs pls.

Indian by birth, Canadian by choice, global citizen by heart. To travel and experience how locals live, eat and be is akin to breathing. I used to host eons ago on couchsurfing and airbnb when no one knew much about them. 
Mi casa su casa is something we believe in our home for anyone who visits us, family or friends. We look forward to expanding that to many other travel loving couples and families!

About our diverse family: 

I have an interesting and diverse family, as in my son is from Kazakhstan, I am of Indian origin from Delhi, India who moved to Canada 24 yrs ago (with just 2 suitcases and married at that time to someone I didn't know much about! Can you tell I like adventure in life! ;) ). I have been married to my (now) hubby Pierre who is French Canadian and we both together love our combined brood of children - ranging from 12 to 28. The oldest 3 are on their own,
Its mainly the 3 youngest who are 12, 15 and 15 that spend more time with us. 

My parents live with us 6 months of the year and fly to warmer India in the winters. And since life is not busy enough with that, we also have 2 dogs, a shihtzhu Pixie and an Aussie Shepherd Jessy who bring so much excitement and joy in our home.

I am in Real estate and my husband used to be in the hotel business for over 30+ years and now is Project Manager in a renovations business. VERY handy with anything in the home and outside. Also a good chef! :) 

I would so love to do a simultaneous, non simultaneous, hospitality, non reciprocal exchange and enjoy the area for a anywhere between 2 to 3 nights to a week or even 2. Depending on prices of tickets from Ottawa Canada it would just be me and my husband travelling together.

We invite you to our home too, if we are here then as hospitality stay with your children (we have kids half the time too and have 2 loving dogs if you are ok) or we can do simultaneous, non simultaneous/Non reciprocal & accept Globes and Plutos if offered.
