Neighbourhood
Just walking minutes away there is a huge plaza with Costco, groceries, wine stores, plenty of different restaurants, so it is very convenient.
Set in a beautifully quiet neighbourhood, this cozy home in Oshawa provides the perfect safe space retreat from the endless hustle and bustle of a day in Toronto. If a 45 min car ride to the city is not an option, there are plenty of accessible bus routes going towards Oshawa GO Station, zooming via train from there into the core of Downtown Toronto. Experience the best of both worlds as you take in iconic city attractions along with wild scenery, relaxing in a home that is rich in nature. Notable landmarks include the public gardens of McLaughlin Estate (five minute walk!), the bird-populated reserves of Lakeview Park, and gorgeous beaches and bluffs that face the best of Lake Ontario.
Lots of activities in Pingles Farm which is just 15 min drive away and Thermae Spa (Nordic style) with indoor and outdoor pools, saunas and Moroccan bath. So, check it out!

Getting Around
Oshawa offers you a perfect balance between city excitement and the tranquility of the outdoors. It is a home to a growing arts and culture scene, unique local restaurants, lively entertainment options, and shopping districts that showcase both big-name retailers and independent boutiques. The city’s history is also a major draw, with attractions such as Parkwood Estate, once home to auto baron R.S. McLaughlin, offering a glimpse into Canada’s automotive heritage.
For those seeking to escape into nature, Oshawa delivers with its abundance of green spaces, trails, and waterfront beauty. The Lake Ontario shoreline provides stunning views and peaceful walks, particularly through the scenic Lakeview Park with its sandy beach, marina, and picnic areas. Beyond this, the area is rich with wild conservation areas and marshes, such as the Oshawa Second Marsh Conservation Area, which is a haven for birdwatchers and wildlife enthusiasts. These natural spaces offer excellent opportunities for hiking, cycling, and observing diverse ecosystems. Whether you are looking for cultural experiences, convenient access to Toronto, or the restorative calm of natural landscapes, Oshawa brings it all together, making it an ideal destination for a well-rounded getaway.
