General overview
Our home is so spacious (179 m2) and was newly built in 2022. We're enjoying its master bedroom, our two children's rooms, and two offices that can be used as extra bedrooms - though they do offer a nice desk and seating area each. We've also got a garden.
The space
So the ground level consists of a living room and separate living kitchen. We've got all appliances anyone could wish for in this kitchen, including a very good coffee machine that also makes cappuccino, flat whites and espresso.
Guest access
There are three floors. Living room and kitchen on the ground floor, the master bedroom and 2 offices (can be used as bedrooms) on the first floor, 2 children's rooms on the second floor.

Neighbourhood
Our neighbourhood is super kid-friendly. There are lots of playgrounds and there's a petting zoo within 300 meters with ducks, chickens, alpacas, emus, sheep, a coffee spot (with ice cream, freshly-baked pies, and simple food depending on the time of year) and a playground. The surroundings of the house are very green, there's a so-called 'English garden' which is a big park only 200 meters away. It's ideal for a family to reside in or a couple that loves nature around the house.
Getting to my home
Either arrive through Schiphol Airport (about 25min by car) or by train. Take a train to Leiden Centraal and then take a 30-minute bus to Noordwijkerhout.

Getting around
By bike:
- 10 minutes to the closest beach with a restaurant / coffee place (does serve good food)
- 20 minutes to a famous beach (Noordwijk aan Zee) - a big boulevard, lots of shops and events
- 10 minutes to a local forest where you can go for a walk
By car:
- 30-40 minutes to Amsterdam
- 17 minutes to Leiden
By public transport:
- take a bus to Leiden Centraal (about 30 minutes) then go anywhere you'd like to go.
