Our home is on a quiet cul de sac in a friendly and safe neighbourhood surrounded by green fields and plenty of cattle. The nearest village is 2km away where you will find 2 large grocery stores, several restaurants and pubs. Enjoy quiet walks on country lanes off the beaten path.
Nearest airport
Shannon Airport is 1 hour away. Dublin airport is 2 hours by car. Knock airport is 1 hour away.
Short flights from all airports to European cities (Milan, Barcelona, Paris, Amsterdam, London, Manchester, Corfu).

Getting Around
A car is needed to best explore the area. Use of our 5 seat car is a possibility (for simultaneous exchanges only).
There is a bus stop 3km away with a direct route to Galway City.
From our home, it is easy to take day trips to Cliffs of Moher, Aran Islands, Achill Island, Westport, Cong Co Mayo and Connemara.
Dublin is a 2 hour drive away. or you can easily get a bus or train.
