General overview
With the King and Queen as close neigbours, you will have a great time exploring wonderful Copenhagen from this centrally located but yet quiet apartment.
This is the inner city of Copenhagen and the location is unbeatable. Everything is nearby and pretty: Restaurants, all kinds of shops, colorful and beautiful houses, cobblestone streets lined with roses, museums of all sorts, parks, the botanical garden and the seaside nearby.
The space
Very light 100m2 flat in a historical building from 1880. It’s a double flat on 4th and 5th floor connected by an internal staircase.
There are 3 bedrooms with double beds (140x200 cm). One room has an extra sofa double bed and so does the living room, which means you can sleep up to 10 people if needed.
New, large kitchen with dining area.. small and functional bathroom with shower. In addition there is a balcony and a large communal green yard with apple trees, flowers, grass and playground for children and barbecue possibilities.
From the apartment you find great views of Copenhagen’s roofs, colorful buildings and immaculate sunrises/sunsets.
Ps - when you are here, see if you can spot the cannonball lodged into the facade of the building across from ours from when the English bombarded Copenhagen in 1807
Guest access
The flat is on 4th and 5th floor with an internal staircase.
There is no elevator but it’s good exercise to walk up and down so you get your training needs sorted whilst traveling ;) (it’s actually not bad)
Notes
No smoking. Also no pets allowed as I have allergies for furry friends :(

Neighbourhood
The neighborhood is picturesque fairy-tale Copenhagen and major sights like Amalienborg, Rosenborg, Marmorkirken, Nyboder and Nyhavn are but a stone’s throw away. Should you want to venture out of Copenhagen, Østerport train station and Marmorkirken metro are very close.
It's also an important architecturally and historically important area. Read more about it on Wikepedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frederiksstaden
Parking is expensive here, so I would avoid a car or rent a share car via for instance gomore
I uploaded some photos of my favourite experiences in the area to give a flavour of what you will encounter
Getting to my home
Max 30 min travel time to and from the airport. It’s a smooth and cheap ride by metro:
After arriving in Copenhagen airport , jump on the M2 Metro. Change at Kongens Nytorv for M3 metro and get off 2 stops later at Marmorkirken. Or walk as I normally do :)
Nearest airport

Getting around
Close to transport to get virtually anywhere. But why go anywhere but here where you have shops, restaurants, parks and the ocean. The LOT :)

Anne Mette
We are Kristoffer (54) and Anne Mette (53), and we both have a strong connection to this area.
In fact, I, Anne Mette, have lived in the flat since 1995. I met Kristoffer in 2022, and on our first date we discovered that he grew up in the building next to my house, but moved out n 1993 - almost just before I moved in. Such a coincidence!
We have a shared passion for literature, art, architecture, nature, food and of course traveling. I also love gardening both on my balcony and in my summerhouse. Mind you, Bambi eats everything I plant in my summer house though …. We’re both friendly, kind and tidy people that will take good care of your home.
Sometimes we might travel with my children - Frederik (18) and Thea (15) - if they’re up for it, and it suits your plans. They’re grumpy but well behaved teenagers that tidy up after themselves.
Work wise, Kristoffer teaches medical professionals in the Danish health platform, while I work with digital HR projects
