General overview
We love our quiet cul-de-sac, huge garden, lovely neighbours. Our home is open-plan on the ground floor (with large kitchen off to the side), 4 bedrooms + study, and 4 bathrooms. Plenty of space for everyone to relax. We are 15 minutes' walk from the RER A train station Chatou-Croissy and 10 mins' walk from shops and restaurants. The area is a family-friendly satellite suburb of Paris with plenty of people who commute in for work each day. Our house would suit families who want to sightsee but also want a lot of space and somewhere calm to retire to at the end of the day
The space
The ground floor has an enormous open plan lounge and dining area, along with one bedroom/ensuite, a toilet, and the large kitchen. The upper floor has three bedrooms, three bathrooms, two toilets, a study, and a large landing which we use as a play area and reading nook. The house is on a 1400m block of land and the garden is a lovely feature.
Guest access
Ground and upper floor, with stairs, and not suitable for wheelchair access.
Entry to the house is by a secure gate, then driveway, with our house tucked away at the back of the terrain. The driveway has space for 4-5 cars to park.

Neighbourhood
A very quiet street in a charming neighbourhood. There is a little bar and restaurant at the end of the street, a pharmacy about 200m away, and after that other commences are around 600-700m from the house. We are 15 mins walk from thriving hubs Chatou centre and Le Vesinet centre. There are many parks in our commune.
The centre of Paris is a 20 minute train ride away which allows for all the benefits of sight-seeing in the most beautiful city in the world but being able to retire at night in the quiet surrounds, meaning you don't deal with all the noise and sensory overload of central Paris ;)
If you're interested I will share my curated Google map with you in which I've pinned touristic sites, bars and restaurants, cafés and interesting/local/quirky things to do.
Getting to my home
The train station is around 15 mins on foot; we tend to cycle down in 4-5 mins. Then it's a 20 min train ride on the RER into Paris. We are a 45 min drive from CDG airport. We use our bikes to do daily commuting, shopping and getting around, and the car for excursions further afield.
Nearest airport
By train, CDG and Orly airports are about the same (1 hour 15). CDG is 45 mins by taxi or car.
Getting around
On foot, by bike, or by car if you prefer.
