Neighbourhood

Walkable, close to city centre neighbourhood yet very quiet. Eclectic collection of homes. Some are 100 years old. Some are new and everything in between. Good bus service two blocks away and access to C-train is a fifteen minute walk - a great way to get around Calgary. Mainly flat walking in our hood. 500 Metres (0.3miles) to one of the largest biking/walking pathways in a North America. https://www.parksfdn.com/greenway https://www.komoot.com/guide/1846716/cycling-around-calgary Five minute walk to supermarkets, coffee shops, four restaurants, ice cream store, gelato, pizza take out etc. Fifteen minute walk to Kensington one of Calgary’s most popular neighbourhoods - great selection of boutique stores, cafes and restaurants. Calgary Internarional Airport. 25 minutes by car.

Getting Around

Very walkable flat neighbourhood. Bus is five minute walk and C-train is 15 minute walk from house. For travelling to mountains and outside a Calgary you will need a car.

Hello! We are Carole and Rick, a retired RN and a retired CPA. We’re excited to be on this ‘next chapter’ of our lives. Our three birds have flown and we are free to travel any time - we love short notice requests! We are originally from Scotland where we lived for 28 years. Canada has been our home since 1980.
