General Overview

We LOVE our Progreso, Yucatan home due its walkability to all the great things that Progreso has to offer. When we want to stay home we have multiple indoor and outdoor spaces to enjoy the ocean breeze, and our favorite spot is the 3rd floor deck with daybeds and a hammock to enjoy the breeze and watch the sunrise and set.

The Space

Our favorite place to unwind and chill. This home has multiple places to relax. You can spend the day here and have a wonderful time with friends, or you can share with your friends and each have your own space. So many options to relax in our home.

Guest Access

3 floors There is 1 step to access the house, but there is pool access, kitchen, dining room and a bedroom/bathroom on the 1st floor. Walkable to everything that Progreso has to offer, but also on a bus route and lots of available street parking if you do decide to rent a car.

Notes

May not be suitable for small children as the pool is not gated and there are high spaces with high railings. We have had multiple guests with children stay here in the past, but we do like to mention this.

Neighbourhood

Our home is on a busy road and is walking distance to the beach, shopping, restaurants, groceries, and all the best things that Progreso has to offer. With this great location, does come some traffice noise. We do not notice it, but we like to mention it.

Getting to my home

Most guests fly in to Merida and take the 45 minute ride to the house. The Cancun airport is only about 4 hours away and is also an option.

Getting Around

Excellent walkability. We are in our 40s and walk everywhere when we are in Progreso. This house is also on the bus route if you prefer not to walk.
