Hospitality Description: If you want to experience the true spirit of the Balts and the authentic Lithuanian way of life, we can organize a planned route for you through the ancient capitals of Lithuania. This includes visiting key attractions, dining recommendations, and estimated costs. The impressive and ancient history of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, rich with burial mounds, hillforts, and preserved culinary and manor heritage, is something we are immensely proud of.
We live just 15 minutes from Vilnius' Old Town, which dates back to the Baroque era, and 45 minutes from Trakai, with its restored Trakai Castle from the era of the grand dukes, situated in the middle of Lake Galvė. Here, you can visit the museum inside the castle, accessible by boat for €5 per person or on foot via bridges. You can also taste authentic Karaim's kibinai and other traditional dishes. Paddle boating or rowing to Užutrakis Manor and walking through its gardens is another inexpensive and enjoyable activity, as is sailing on a yacht.
Only 20 minutes from our home is Kernavė, Lithuania's oldest capital. Wooden stairs lead up to the hillforts, offering breathtaking views of the Neman River and an idyllic church. Here, you can engage in activities reminiscent of pagan times. If you're lucky enough to visit during the midsummer festival, you’ll witness a traditional Lithuanian craft fair.
Kaunas, Lithuania's interwar temporary capital and second-largest city, is just an hour away. Our passion for history and culinary arts, combined with the strategic location for travel, will surely surprise you. Welcoming our guests, we always treat them to eco-friendly dishes reminiscent of ancient heritage, such as fresh honey with Lithuanian sweet milk cheese, cumin cheese, smoked skilandis (a type of sausage), cured and smoked meat hams, sausages, aged cheeses, apple cheese, Lithuanian kvass, cider, beer, wine, rye bread, pickled and marinated cucumbers, as well as jams and teas from Lithuanian forests.!

General overview
Our home is surrounded by three lakes and a forest—Vanaginės Geomorphological Reserve. While we’re away, our extremely friendly cat, Uosis, will be around to keep an eye on the house.
Our home is particularly large, with 300 square meters of space, six parking spots, a garage, sauna, anteroom, gym, and a big, sunny, enclosed yard. In the yard, you’ll find a large pool, a children’s playground with a sandbox, swings, a fort, a climbing wall, a trampoline, and a garden gazebo with mosquito nets and comfortable furniture for evening relaxation. We also have a grill, a Komado barbecue, a seating area under the willows for morning coffee, and a herb and flower garden with chamomile, calendula, and chocolate mint for evening tea.
Inside, we have a huge master bedroom, three bathrooms, and an extra WC on the first floor. Our living room and kitchen are connected, creating a spacious area for family gatherings. The living room is equipped with a home cinema setup, perfect for movie nights with Netflix and more.
Our neighborhood is extremely safe, perfect for children to ride their bicycles in the street. Nearby, we have an equestrian center and community-maintained beaches with grilling areas, children's playgrounds, and a manor site.
Our children are of different ages: a daughter of 18, and sons of 10 and 7. Therefore, you’ll find everything from toys, board games, and construction sets to scooters, bicycles, paddleboards, hoverboards, roller skates, skateboards, and protective gear. The hostess loves to cook, so our kitchen is fully equipped with everything from dough kneaders to traditional Lithuanian clay pots for stews.
As an event organizer, the hostess has everything you need for stylish garden picnics and parties—dishes and decor included. When you visit, you won’t need to bring anything. We provide everything from badminton and pétanque sets to pool towels and two refrigerators.
We’ll also gladly help you plan activities when you visit our winter wonderland (Vilnius' Christmas tree is often ranked among the most beautiful in Europe, and the Christmas market attracts many tourists each year). In spring, Lithuania blooms spectacularly, with numerous parks and estates offering family-friendly activities and tastings. Summer is the golden season in Lithuania, with strawberries and blueberries ripening in the forests, mushrooms to pick, warm lakes for swimming, and open forests and lakes for visitors. There are many festivals, open-air movie nights, free family activities, and a vast network of cycling paths. We have a road bike, family bikes, children’s bikes, and a bike seat for smaller visitors. We also have different sizes of child seats for cars.
Our home can comfortably accommodate 9-10 people across 4-5 sleeping areas. We’re a very busy family and often don’t have time to enjoy all the amenities we have. We warmly welcome you to enjoy our home, whether you love spending evenings outside or cozying up inside with our home cinema setup. Come visit Lithuania and experience the beauty of our four-season home.
We look forward to welcoming you!

Hello,
We are a family of five living in the suburbs of Vilnius, just an 18-minute drive from the city’s old town. Our home is surrounded by three lakes and a forest—Vanaginės Geomorphological Reserve. While we’re away, our extremely friendly cat, Uosis, will be around to keep an eye on the house.
