General overview
Our home is located on top of a beautiful Kentucky rolling hill, and backs up to acres of woods that lead to a large creek. In the summer, our blueberries and blackberries are ready to be picked! We have a 4 BR, 3 bath home built in 2022 with 3,300 square feet. Perfect for small or large families. We are located in Abraham Lincoln’s birthplace so you can drive 3 minutes down the road to visit it, or 30 minutes to the bourbon trail or mammoth cave. We are located close to all things KY, but also only 2 hours from Nashville! The best lake in Kentucky, Lake Cumberland, is 1.5 hours away, however, McDougal Lake is gorgeous in our town and only 10 minutes away. There are also many, many other lakes within 30 minutes to a hour drive. Don’t miss your chance to come to horse country!
The space
Our home is on 19 beautiful acres, that were once a blueberry farm! We still have 80 blueberry bushes, wild blackberries, apple and peach trees, as well as elderberry trees. Take a soak in our oversized bath, or relax on the large cover porch to your favorite show, or the sound of crickets in the peaceful countryside. We have a king bed in the master, a king bed in our daughters room, two twin sized beds in our sons room, and a crib with a pullout sofa in our babies room.
Guest access
Ranch style home with a large basement that is half finished. Hot tub is being added by fall 2025.
Notes
We live in rural Kentucky so there are outdoor cats around. We do feed them because we are animals lovers, so we ask that our guests put out food once or twice a day also. Currently, we also have a fish that needs to be fed once a day also.
