General overview
Beautiful and practical two-story apartment in quiet friendly neighborhood very close to city center, but also close to the mountains surrounding Bergen. Close to public transport, restaurants and convenience stores. Two balconies that have sun all day (if the weather allows) from early morning to 2230 pm in the summer.
The space
3-bedroom apartment which can sleep 5-6 people. One bedroom has a queen size bed, one bedroom with a single (90 cm) bed that can also have an extra foldout bed, on third floor there’s a single bed and a sofa bed.
The kitchen has all necessary equipment; stove, fridge, dishwasher, pots and pans, coffee machine and water heater.
Two private balconies.
Small, but functional bathroom with wc, shower and sink.
Guest access
Two-story apartment on second and third floor. Need to be able to walk the stairs both outside the house and inside. No elevator.

Neighbourhood
The apartment is situated in a quiet area close to the city center. Busses, light rail (to city center or airport) is a 5 minute walk away. Convenience store just around the corner, nice neighborhood restaurants, pharmacy and bakery close by. If you prefer to walk, you will reach the city center in 20 minutes. Here you can visit the Kode art galleries, world heritage site Bryggen, Bergen natural history museum, Mount Fløyen, or maybe you want to take a swim in the fjord at Nordnes Sjøbad or Heit Sauna? You can also visit Troldhaugen, the home of famous Norwegian composer Edvard Grieg and enjoy a classical concert in Troldsalen.
From Bergen you can take the train to Oslo, through the Hardanger vidda mountain plateau, make stops at Voss, Finse, ustaoset or Geilo. You can also go by train to Flåm and by boat back to Bergen. Fjord cruises to Flåm, Gudvangen and world heritage site Nærøyfjorden leave every day in the summer.
Ulriken cable car and Mount Ulriken close by. Maybe you will do the classic hike through “Vidden” from Ulriken to Mount Fløyen?

From Bergen airport: 35 minutes by by train/ light rail. 5 minutes walk from stop to apartment. Approx 20 min by car.
