General Overview

New apartment (62sqm), located in the center of Como, easily accessible on foot, by car and by train. There is free private parking for the car, just below the apartment. The apartment is central but very quiet. Ideal for a couple who want to spend a romantic weekend. The apartment is often occupied for short rentals, for this reason we prefer to have guests for no more than a week.

The Space

The modern apartment has a dining area, has air conditioning and dehumidification with sofa and large window overlooking the internal garden, dining table with 4 chairs. The kitchen is complete with dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine, cast iron and glass teapots, oven, toaster and everything you need to cook. The master bedroom is equipped with a large velux window, there is a large and completely empty wardrobe. The bathroom is equipped with a nice modern shower, washing machine, hairdryer and a small iron. The studio has a high-speed fiber WI-FI connection and a desk.

Guest Access

From the garage you can access the apartment via 2 small flights of stairs.

On departure there is an extra charge of € 50 for cleaning for the cleaner.

Neighbourhood

The residential neighborhood is very quiet, it doesn't even seem to be in the center of a tourist city like Como.

Getting to my home

The location is perfect: a 15-minute walk from the historic center and less than 5 minutes from the Como Nord – Borghi station (the station that connects with Milan or Malpensa airport), a stone's throw from the Duomo, the lake and the funicular to Brunate. The bus stop is about 50 meters away.

Nearest airport

Malpensa Airport is about 50 minutes away by train or car.

Getting Around

The apartment is centrally located, a 15-minute walk from the pedestrian Old Town and about 20 minutes from the shores of the lake. The train station is 3 minutes away on foot. The bus stop is just a few meters away. We always recommend leaving your car in the private car park (parking is difficult in Como) and enjoying the city on foot.

Pino

We are a family of 4: Marina, Pino, 15 year old Anita and 12 year old Nicolò. We have lived in Como since we decided to start a family, because it is the ideal city for raising children. When we are not busy with work (we have had a Tea Shop in the historic centre of Como since 2008) we love traveling with them around the world. Availability in summer is more difficult because Lake Como is very touristy.
