General overview

Nice family house in a quiet and safe neighbourhood. 5 min drive to coast and beaches, a lot of opportunities for hiking. Big garden with a lot of toys for kids and a big trampoline.

The space

Main bedroom have a 210 cm bed, 2nd and 3rd bedroom have a 120 cm bed each, 4th bedroom have 2 children bunkbeds, 5th bedroom has a 140 cm bed. Lots of toys in the childrens rooms. We have also all you need If you travel with an infamt. Big livingroom with diningtable for 6-12 people. Tv corner with 85’’ TV. Netflix, Viaplay, HBO, Disney and prime available. Small TV corner downstairs with 45’’ TV. 2 bathrooms, one with a bathtub. Small trainingroom with treadmill, kettlebells and dumbells. Big private garden with trampoline and childrens playground. Terrasse with barbeque, diningtable for 6 and loungegroup for 7.

Notes

Porsgrunn is cold and snowy in des-february. A lot of skiing oportunities nearby.

Neighbourhood

Safe neighbourhood. Multiple playgrounds, football court, indoor pool, supermarkets and cafe in walking distance. Bus station 5 min walk from house. The woods Are close if you like a walk/run in the nature.

Getting to my home

Torp, Sandefjord lufthavn - closest airport 35 min, bus from Airport to Porsgrunn Oslo, Gardermoen Airport - 2 hours 20 min by car, train goes from the Airport to Porsgrunn.

Getting around

We can leave one of our cars available for guests. Tesla model Y (5 Seats) or Hongqi (7 Seats), both Are el-cars and can be charged at home or charging station If you Are on a longer trip. Car Seats for kids are also available. Lots of things to do in the area, close to coast (5 min with car) and 10 min to downtown, shopping and restaurants. Beaches, tenniscourt, paddle, indoor waterpark, bowling, shopping, science centre, Open farm family park, trampoline parks, climbing park indoor and outdoor, cinema; Are all a short drive away. Lots of beautiful nature and small beautiful places in drivingdistance to experience. 2 hours drive to Oslo. Train goes directly from Porsgrunn. 2 hours to Kristiansand and Zoo. Between 1 and 2 hour drive to different ski resorts (Gautefall, Lifjell, Kongsberg, Vrådal and Rauland). Ferry to Sweden and Denmark goes from cities 20-35 min drive away.

We Are a big family, 2 adults and 5 lovely children (0-14 years). We love traveling, take part of new cultures and teach our kids about the world. We Are new to homeexchange, but love the idea of this and Are excited to try this. We have a cat, a very kind Sibirian rase cat, we would be happy if it could stay home and be taken care when we exchange homes.
