General Overview

Our bright, modern 4-room flat is in one of Zurich’s most beautiful and peaceful neighbourhoods, surrounded by green gardens and elegant villas right next to the forest and the Zurich Zoo. Public transport is just 2 minutes away — you can reach the city center in 15 minutes and the airport in 35 minutes by tram or 15 minutes by car. Guests also have access to a shared garden. It’s very safe and quiet here — the perfect mix of nature and city life.

The Space

Our flat has a spacious living and dining area with a sunny balcony overlooking a peaceful garden and forest. There is one bedroom, one children’s room, a fully equipped kitchen, a separate bathroom and WC. Everything is cozy, tidy and clean, so you will feel comfortable and right at home. You’ll find everything you need: dishwasher, washing machine and dryer (shared in the building).

Guest Access

The flat is on the first floor of a small building with 6 units.

Notes

We share our home with three friendly, independent cats. They can go outside through a cat flap but we kindly ask our guests to feed them during their stay — in return they may come by for cuddles or just nap in the sun. If you are allergic or uncomfortable with cats, our home may not be the best fit. We kindly ask for a cleaning deposit of 90 CHF for each exchange. Our expectation is that the apartment will be left as clean and tidy as it was handed over to you: cleaned, beds stripped, and everything put back in order. If the apartment is not returned in this condition, or if you prefer not to clean, a professional cleaning service can be arranged for an additional fee, depending on the availability of our cleaning woman. Neighbourhood

There are three supermarkets nearby (one is open on Sundays), a bakery, the Zoo, and beautiful forest trails for walking or running. You’ll also find three restaurants within walking distance and the FIFA headquarters close by. The lake and the city center are only a short tram ride away.

Getting to my home

Our home is very easy to reach by public transport. From Zurich main station, simply take tram No. 6 to the final stop Zoo and walk about 2 minutes to our flat. If you’re arriving from the airport, you can either take a direct train (they run every 5–10 minutes) or tram No. 10 to Zurich main station, and then switch to tram No. 6. Parking in the blue zone is possible with a daily pass that can be bought online.

Zurich Airport, 15min by car, 35min by public transport.

Getting Around

Very central location: just a 2-minute walk to the tram stop with trams every 7 minutes. It’s only 15 minutes to Zurich main station and about 35 minutes to the airport by public transport.
