General Overview

We have a semi detached 3 bedroom house, with a relaxing peaceful garden. We are: - 20 minute train ride into the centre of Manchester - 2 hour drive to Wales - 4 hour drive to Scotland - 2 hour train to London - We have also hopped in the car for a 2 hour trip to the ferry port and jumped on a ferry to Amsterdam for a day trip in the past! - 2 hour drive to the beautiful Lake District - Just over an hour drive to the beautiful medieval city of York 🇬🇧 We are very outdoorsy people so we have a car with a roof tent available to use, aswell as all camping gear and inflatable kayak etc. At the end of our garden is a public footpath which leads up onto the hills for some lovely walks. The garden also has an outdoor bar and seating area, fire pit, bbq, plenty of outdoor games, aswell as a little stream running through it which has some resident ducks and ducklings (depending on time of the year!). We are also about 45 mins to Manchester airport so easy access - in the past we have also managed to get a girls weekend flights from Manchester to Dublin for £35 🇮🇪 so some great deals pop up from time to time!

The Space

3 bedrooms - master bedroom with king sized bed, TV and makeup area The second bedroom is a small double bedroom which is my 10 year old daughter’s room. The third bedroom has bunk beds and a desk. Downstairs there is an office available for use, aswell as a decent sized living room with log burner, and a conservatory/kitchen area. The garden is lovely in summer, a couple of doors down has a waterfall in their garden and so all you can hear is the sound of water. There are some beautiful walks available from the back of the garden as there is a public footpath which takes you up to a reservoir and into the hills. Please note there is a stream running through the garden and so extra consideration would need to be given for those with small children.
