General overview
What we love most about our home is its unique location and serene surroundings. Being situated in the Doles Island nature park and right by the Daugava River provides us with an unparalleled connection to nature. The natural beauty that surrounds us, from the lush greenery to the tranquil water views, creates a peaceful and inspiring environment that we cherish every day.
Our home is special because it offers the perfect blend of comfort and outdoor living. We have a beautiful garden where we spend a lot of time together, tending to our plants and enjoying the fresh produce from our greenhouse. This hands-on interaction with nature is incredibly fulfilling and brings us closer as a family.
Our house features tree spacious bedrooms and three modern bathrooms, providing ample space for everyone. The large living room is perfect for family gatherings and relaxation, while the kitchen, combined with the dining area, serves as the heart of our home, where we share meals and create lasting memories.
One of the highlights of our home is the abundance of natural light. Large windows on all sides of the house ensure that every room is bathed in sunlight, offering stunning views of the surrounding nature. We also have three fireplaces that add warmth and coziness to our living spaces, making our home inviting and comfortable year-round.
The presence of our friendly dog and two majestic Maine Coon cats adds to the warmth and joy of our home. They are part of what makes our living space lively and filled with love. Cats stay at home when we travel. Dog usually visits my mum.
Here, it is possible to enjoy all four seasons to their fullest. From the vibrant blooms of spring and the long, sunny days of summer, to the colorful foliage of autumn and the serene, snowy landscapes of winter, each season brings its own unique charm to our home and surroundings.
The space
For your use, there is a 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Open space kitchen and living room - both with fireplaces.
Guest access
House has ground floor with wardrobe, washing machine and dryer. Some sports equipment is available here and technical room.
On the first floor there is entrance to garden form kitchen. Living room and commonly used bathroom with WC bath and shower.
Three bedrooms are located on second floor. One bathroom for kids use and main bathroom connected to master bedroom.

Neighbourhood
House is located in Nature park. We have another house in property where our relatives live. They can be help in unclear situations and emergencies.
We also have a small guest house which we rent on Airbnb and booking, but usually we close the dates when we are on travel or someone else is taking care of it.
Nature park itself is a nice place for walks - unattached forest, wild animals and many kind of birds can be observed during your stay. Country skiing during winter or bicycle ride is perfect for leisure.
Getting to my home
There is no public transport, so you will have to think about renting car or using taxi.
We are 30-40min drive (depends on traffic) from airport and also from Riga city centre, where all main attractions are located.

Getting around
Closest shops are 15min drive from home. Either in Salaspils or Kekava where all main grocery stores, books stores, butcheries are located.
You will need a car to get around. Public transport is very rear and goes only to Salaspils where after you have to take train to get to city ceter.

We are a family of five living in a picturesque location, just a 30-minute drive from the center of Riga, in the Doles Island nature park, right by the Daugava River. Our home is shared with a friendly dog and two majestic Maine Coon cats. We love to travel, and many of our trips revolve around water and windsurfing, as our children are actively involved in this exciting sport.
Our house is surrounded by natural beauty, and we have a deep appreciation for nature. We maintain a beautiful garden and a greenhouse where we grow fresh vegetables and flowers. Nearby, there is a small cottage that we rent out to guests who wish to enjoy peace and tranquility away from the city bustle.
We are a happy family who values an active and healthy lifestyle close to nature.
