Neighbourhood

We live on a quiet dead end street with mostly single family homes in a village.

Nearest airport

Hannover is appr. 90 minute away, for longer international flights we ususally take the train and either fly from Duesseldorf (2hrs)or Frankfurt(3 hrs)

Getting Around

There are several grocery stores, gas stations, banks and pharmacies in the small town of Horn which is only 3 km away. Detmold is the capital city of our region and is only 10 km. While it is easiest to have a car to get around and explore, there is a train station in our village with where you can easily reach bigger cities in a few hours for day trips. We have 2 e-bikes you are welcome to use, if we don’t travel with them ourselves.
