We had an absolutely excellent stay in Megan and Joe’s beautiful home, it was the perfect base for our first home exchange. The house is located in a lovely neighbourhood, just a short drive to Oceanside and Carlsbad beaches and within easy reach of shops and local amenities. There are so many activities to do in the area, we loved the San Diego Zoo safari.
The house is clean, modern, and incredibly well equipped, with a spacious kitchen, comfortable living areas, and a peaceful garden where we enjoyed relaxing in the evenings. There is also fresh produce in the garden which was very impressive!
The home is clearly loved and well cared for. It was very child friendly, with thoughtful touches available like beach equipment and toys for young children, which made traveling with little ones so much easier. Megan’s house manual was incredibly detailed and helpful, highlighting excellent local attractions and family-friendly activities. Her yoga studio nearby was a great bonus and definitely worth a visit!
We thoroughly enjoyed our time in San Diego and left feeling grateful for such a warm, welcoming, and seamless home exchange experience. We would highly recommend a stay in Megan and Joe’s home to anyone looking to explore this beautiful part of California.
