NOTE: we are just moving in; will update with furnished photos soon!
Beautiful old classically Parisian 2 bedroom (“T3”) apartment in the northeast of Paris. Bright, 4th floor with elevator, close to the canal and lots of cafes, bars, art, music as well as two wonderful parks. Well suited and set up for a young child (playground at the end of the block). Very convenient with buses and metro, grocery stores and bakery at the other end of the block. It’s a wonderful, vital neighborhood and a beautiful cozy home for a few adults or a small family.
The space
2 bedrooms, one with a double bed, one which is set up for a baby (large crib, changing table, play space). There is a couch in the salon which another guest could sleep on if needed (it is not convertible but it is comfortable!) The baby room could also easily be converted into an office if needed. Let me know and I will try to accommodate your needs!

Neighbourhood
The apartment is in the 19th arr. It's a great neighborhood, mainly inhabited by real actual Parisians. Many, many families but also artists, musicians (the conservatory and symphony are in the neighborhood), intellectuals, etc. It is diverse and middle-class. For children is it great, especially in the summertime: Paris Plages (https://www.paris.fr/paris-plages-2024) on the canal, a playground at the end of the block, a kids cafe 3 blocks away. There are two huge parks (Buttes Chaumont and La Villette) within a 10 minutes walk, great for running, walking, picnics. There are also many cafes, bars, restaurants, music and art venues in the neighborhood (Symphony, le 104, la Gare, peniches along the canal that have music and theatre.) A huge and wonderful open-air market 2 blocks away twice a week. You can reach the center of the city easily by bike or metro (15 minutes to Republique, 20-30 to Les Halles.) It's a fun and vibrant place to live like a Parisian.
