General Overview

Our home is a spacious family villa in Bali, ideal for families or groups seeking a comfortable, longer stay with plenty of indoor and outdoor living space. The villa has 4 bedrooms, although one room is currently set up as an office and will generally be locked to store our personal belongings during exchanges. Sleeping arrangements include: Master bedroom downstairs with a king bed Large upstairs bedroom with a king bed Children’s bedroom with bunk beds and two single mattresses Each bedroom has its own ensuite bathroom and air conditioning. The villa also features a very large private swimming pool and outdoor entertaining area.

The Space

The home is designed for relaxed indoor-outdoor living with multiple living and entertaining spaces. Downstairs includes: Large comfortable lounge area with TV 10-person dining table Fully equipped kitchen Small children’s table and chairs Plenty of children’s toys and books Upstairs there is a balcony overlooking the pool with: Small sitting table and chairs Outdoor sofa seating area The outdoor area includes a large pool, seating area, and space to relax or entertain. We also provide: Reliable high-speed Wi-Fi Full-time house cleaner included 6 days per week Parking space for a car plus bikes/scooters Adult and children’s helmets are available for guests

Guest Access

Guests will have access to the full villa except for one locked office/storage room. The villa is split across 2 floors with a staircase. Families with very young children should note that the staircase has a minimal handrail.

Notes

Our home is a renovated traditional Bali property with open indoor-outdoor living spaces designed for the tropical climate and lifestyle. Like most villas in Bali, the home is not sealed from nature in the same way many Western homes are. Guests should expect occasional tropical insects, geckos, humidity, falling leaves around the pool area, and the general quirks that come with island living. While the villa has been renovated and is very comfortable for day-to-day family life, it is not a brand-new luxury development, and some finishes reflect the character and imperfections of an older Bali home. We think this is part of the charm of living in Bali and hope to host guests who appreciate a relaxed, authentic tropical lifestyle rather than a hotel-style experience. We have a friendly indoor cat who normally lives in the villa. If preferred, we are happy to arrange boarding for the cat during your stay. However, guests with cat allergies should note that the property may still not be suitable due to lingering allergens within the home. We also occasionally feed a friendly local street dog who spends time between our property and our neighbour’s house. The dog is very used to people and may occasionally wander into the garage or outdoor area. If you would prefer the dog not enter the villa area, simply keep the internal garage door closed.

Neighbourhood

The villa is located in Kerobokan, tucked just behind the Umalas area with convenient backstreet access into Umalas and Berawa. Our location is best suited to guests who are comfortable using scooters or Gojek bike transport, as Bali’s recent traffic changes and one-way systems can make car travel into areas such as Berawa, Canggu, and Seminyak significantly slower during peak periods. Our cleaner can also assist guests with organising scooter rentals if needed.
