General Overview
Our lovely apartment is located in a quiet neighborhood in the town of Kópavogur. It's close to bus stops both to downtown Reykjavík and to Keflavík airport.
What we love the most about our apartment is that although it's located on a ground floor, it has a great sea and mountain views overlooking Garðabær and Hafnarfjörður. The apartment has big windows which makes it very bright.
The Space
Our apartment consists of two bedrooms, one of them belongs to our sons, a bathroom and a common space with a kitchen, dining area and a living room area. There is a laundry room that we share with our neighbors just outside the apartment on the hallway.
We have a nice terrace overlooking the sea with outdoor furniture and a barbecue that is accessible through the common area.

Neighbourhood
Our neighborhood is very calm and quiet. It is very child friendly, in walking distance from the local swimming pool, public library and to a public park with a playground. There is a nature bath, SkyLagoon in walking distance of our apartment.
Getting to my home
The house is easily accessible by a bus. There is a flight bus that stops in Hamraborg which is in 15 minutes walking distance. From Hamraborg it is also possible to take a bus directly to downtown Reykjavík.
There is free parking outside our house if our guests would prefer to have a rental car.
Nearest airport
Keflavík airport is the nearest international airport.
Getting Around
There are some local supermarkets in walking distance.
