I can meet for a coffee or beer. Give them guidance about what to see in Berlin, places to eat at, and how to make most of their time in Berlin
We were very fortunate to take advantage of a last minute offer from Manish to stay at his comfortable apartment in Berlin. We came by car, found easy parking in front of the building and used public transportation for our entire stay. There is a bus stop right in front and the s Bahn Station is only a 10 min Walk and takes you anywhere in Berlin and outlying areas like Potsdam. After a full day of sightseeing it was nice to come back to the quiet neighborhood and cozy apartment where we enjoyed the chocolates and drinks Manish and Falguni left us. Communication was great throughout our stay, with some nice suggestions from Manish. A great host and perfect spot to discover the many interesting places that Berlin has to offer! Thank you Manish and Falguni
My daughter and I spent four lovely days at Falguni’s and Manish’ place in Berlin on a hospitality exchange. They both are the nicest and most generous hosts and immediately made us feel welcome and at home. Their place in former East Berlin - Schöneweide is close to the river, within easy reach to the city centre by public transport.
We visited the Museum Island, Wall Museum, the Palace of Tears, the Bundestag and the documentation centre NS Zwangsarbeit which is very conveniently located right in front of Manish’ house. Another beautiful day trip led us to Potsdam and Sanssouci palaces. So much to do and not enough time.
Dear Falguni and Manish, we are grateful that you let us stay with you. Thank you so much. It was perfect and it was a great pleasure spending time with you and we hope to see you soon in Munich.
We had a great week in Berlin. Public transport made everything easy to reach. Manish gave us lots of tips on things to do and places to eat. The apartment also had everything we needed to cook for ourselves. It’s spacious and the beds are comfortable. Thanks Manish for sharing your home!
Thank you! Great to know that you had a great week in Berlin!
We had such an amazing stay at Manish's home. The place was comfortable and cozy during our winter stay. The home is convenient to a train station and places to eat etc. There was also a bus stop and a kids park nearby which were great for our family. Manish went above and beyond providing wonderful restaurants etc. Upon his recommendations, we were able to check out a Christmas market, and eat some great food. We walked to a nearby waterfront, and got to experience the celebration for New Years! We explored museums and other tourist attractions, and ventured out from Berlin as well. Manish was even kind enough to offer advice on other cities we visited! A wonderful and kind host, and a great experience all around. This is what PLU is all about! Thank you!
Thank you so much for your kind words! It was a pleasure to host you guys. We’re glad you enjoyed Berlin.
In July, my daughter and I were hosted on a hopitality exchange by the lovely Falguni and her husband Manish. So, we were very happy being able to repay the favour and hosted them for a couple of - unfortunately rainy - days here in Munich. It was great catching up and spending some time together.
Dear Falguni and Manish, thank you for everything, it was great meeting you again and hope to see you again in Munich or in Berlin!
Our hamster and the plants were well taken care of. It was nice to stay in touch with Manish during their stay. Thanks for everything!
Manish and Falguni are amazing friends of us. We would so happy to catch up with them both. They are super friendly and very lovely couple.
Manish and his wife are lovely guests! Great communication and they left the apartment very clean. We hope to visit them in Berlin soon :-)
It was a pleasure hosting Manish and his wife! Communication was great, and the apartment was well cared for and tidy when they left. We would definitely host them again, and hope we can do a SIM exchange with them in future to discover Berlin!
Thank you for the kind words!! It was a pleasure to stay in Leysin! Let's plan for a simultaneous exchange next year!
Thank you Uli for the wonderful Hospitality!! We enjoyed staying at your home in Munich a lot and would love to meet you again.
We had the pleasure of staying with Uli for 4 days last week, and we absolutely loved the experience. Uli has a beautiful home and was very welcoming. She also gave us great suggestions about places to visit near Munich, which are a bit different than the places that are frequented by tourists.
We really enjoyed ending our days by having conversations with Uli about what we did and about life in General. It was like catching up with an old friend!
Susanne and Ingo were great guests and we loved hosting them in our home in Berlin.
We stayed in touch throughout their stay in Berlin and they were very easy to communicate with.
They also left our home spotless, and we came back to a warm and welcoming note from them. We will happily host them again, and highly recommend them as guests.
We concluded our first hospitality stay and had the pleasure of hosting Uli and her daughter Chiara at our home in Berlin.
Our experience with the hospitality was absolutely amazing! Uli and Chiara are both wonderful human beings and we loved spending time with them. Since they’ve left, our home sort of feels empty.
We felt like a family with Uli and Chiara, and looked forward to interacting with them everyday!
We wish Uli and Chiara more adventures and hope that our paths will cross again in future!
Thank you both so much for your kindness and your generosity. It has been a pleasure getting to know the two of you. See you soon in Munich!
Thank you Amelie, Kim and Tim for hosting us in your beautiful home!
We really enjoyed our stay in Ijsselstein, the town is very cute and we enjoyed exploring it a lot. It’s also very close to Utrecht which helped us in doing day trips. And Amsterdam, Rotterdam and The Hague are also easily reachable from their home.
The hamster stole the show for us! Every night we waited for her to come out so that we’d see her activities. We used to sit by the cage and interact with her.
The home itself is very beautiful and spacious. And we felt like we knew Kim’s family for a long time. They have done a beautiful job in making the home so personal and cozy . We absolutely loved it and got a lot of inspiration from them.
Communication with Kim was super easy. We stayed in touch before, during and even after the stay. She was very helpful with suggestions and ideas about things to do! And we really enjoyed their personal notes for us!
Thank you so much guys for hosting us! We’d love to meet you sometime in future.
Amelie, Kim and Tim were great guests. We loved having them in our home. They left the home very clean and thought out their stay we were in touch. We loved getting updates from them about how they’re spending their day.
We would happily exchange with them again!
Thank you Thu, Lauri, Tonic and Soda! You made our dream of seeing northern lights true!
We had a chance to stay in Thu's home in Oulu recently, and it was a great experience. Thu waited for us to reach Oulu, and we felt like we are meeting an old friend! We talked so much about travel, exchanging and Life in general.
Thu's home is located in a perfect location in Oulu. It's very convenient and you can almost walk to everywhere from there. Oulu is a nice town, and you can easily spend a few days there. But what makes Oulu special is its proximity with beautiful places!
We highly recommend Thu's and her family as exchange partners. We made new friends!
Thanks for your lovely comment. I hope to see you and your wife soon!
Always a pleasure to be at Sevillas and Scotts place!
And likewise always a pleasure to host you! 🤩🙏🥂
We got a chance to host Cassie and family at our home in Berlin for around 5 weeks. Through out the time, it was very easy to communicate with them.
I thoroughly enjoyed their travel stories and they shared some beautiful cafes for us to visit in berlin and Prague. All 3 kids, are super cute!!
We’d be happy to host them again in the future.
Sevilla and Scott's home was absolutely perfect. We enjoyed our stay in their studio apartment a lot. The view of the mountain from the terrace is absolutely magnificent and we just couldn't have enough of it!!
Sevilla was very helpful with a lot of wonderful suggestions about the area in general and things to do and places to visit. We were able to explore the area of Leysin and Vaud in a wonderful way from their home.
We highly recommend their home for a stay!!!
Thank you Sevilla and Scott for the wonderful opportunity to explore Switzerland!!! We had the best time there.
It was a pleasure to host you! :-)

Manish
Hello,
We are Manish and Falguni. We live in the vibrant city of Berlin. I work as a full time software engineer for a company in Berlin. We love traveling and exploring new places, and that's why we thought it would be a good idea to try home exchanging, and it has changed the way we travel.
We enjoy slow traveling, where we can soak in the culture and atmosphere of our destination. We also enjoy relishing the local delicacies of all of the places that we visit.
Some of our fondest memories are related to food. Whether it was that pizza we had in Naples, or the cheese we tried in Switzerland. The patatas bravas of Barcelona, and the Apple struddle in Austria.
We are always happy to receive exchange requests. While unfortunately, we can't agree to all exchange options due to work and other commitments, knowing that someone wants to visit our home and city, always makes us happy.
If you are planning to Visit Berlin, feel free to get in touch with us. Maybe we can meet over a coffee!
