General overview

Our apartment is an artsy oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the city. A corner unit that gets natural light all day, it is a wonderfully quiet and relaxing space. Our apartment is extremely convenient, with access to all major subway lines within a 5-10 minute walk, tons of attractions, grocery stores, and more. We are creative people and have lots of art supplies and instruments for your use. We also love to cook and keep a fully stocked kitchen with tools if you'd like to cook!

The space

Our living and dining space is very spacious for Manhattan, with a premiere vintage sound system, musical instruments, and Roku powered TV for your use. We have a couch, a queen air mattress, as well as a separate bedroom with a queen bed. We have a bathroom with a combination tub and shower. There is a large foyer space and a lovely kitchen with many appliances for you to use.

Guest access

We are located on the 3rd floor with an elevator just outside our door that can fit up to 6 people. There are 5 steps total to reach out apartment, three in the vestibule to the lobby and two in the lobby.

Neighbourhood

Chelsea has everything! Our apartment is very close to the Whitney Museum, Chelsea Market, the High Line, Little Island, Hudson Yards, Madison Square Park, Eataly, and so much more. Chelsea is a beautiful and historic neighborhood with so much to offer. We have three full service grocery stores and a laundromat within a 3 minute walk.

Getting to my home

It is always best to get anywhere in NYC via public transport. You can easily get to our apartment from any of the three major NYC airports via the air train and subway, which drops you off a ~5 walk from our home.

Nearest airport

We have easy access to LGA, JFK, and EWR via the A/C/E trains and the PATH. It is about 1 hour door to door to each airport via public transport.

Getting around

All major subway lines are within a 10 minute walk from our apartment. The closest lines are the 1, A/C/E, and F/M. You can walk to major grocery stores, pharmacies, a laundromat, and convenience stores within 5 minutes. You can walk to an extensive number of clothing stores within 10 minutes.

Hello! I am an interior designer working at a boutique firm & antique furnishings business based in New York. I grew up in Brooklyn and participated in a home exchange in Paris previously. My boyfriend, Bobby, and I live together. He is a cook at one of NY's best french restaurants. We love food, interior design, exploring off-the-beaten-path places, live music, and art.
