Situated in a tranquil location with 360-degree views of the Rockies, our home is an ideal base for exploring the beautiful Golden region and nearby national parks such as Yoho, Lake Louise and Banff. There you can observe wildlife and relax in complete tranquility in the mountains.
Our home, located in beautiful Blaeberry Valley (20 minutes from Golden), has views from every window. It is equipped with a fully equipped kitchen, a barbecue, a wood-burning fireplace, a games room and lots of other things! . Large windows with skylights, some custom local artwork is featured throughout the home.
Surrounded by six national parks, you can enjoy hiking trails, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and scenic walks along the river, all from our doorstep! For the more adventurous, whitewater rafting, downhill skiing, downhill mountain biking, and snowmobiling are just a short drive away.
The space
The house extends over three floors. On the ground floor, you will find a bedroom with a king-size bed equipped with a Japanese futon. A bright living room offering breathtaking views of the mountains and a large equipped kitchen as well as a wood stove. There is also a smart TV in the living room. Upstairs there is a bedroom with a queen-size bed and another bedroom with two single beds.
The basement has another smart TV, books and board games for all ages, and a convertible sofa to accommodate additional guests. Downstairs there is a reading room with a quiet work space, a full bathroom, three bedrooms with two queen-size beds and a single bed.
We pride ourselves on providing a clean and welcoming space. The home features beautiful custom wood finishes and is located on a 3 acre lot. With the Blaeberry River just 5 meters away, this property has a lot to offer.
Guest access
There are 2 floors, with stairs.
Notes
Since our house is in the middle of the forest, it is normal to find insects around and sometimes inside when they manage to get in. You may also encounter mice, bears, and a few mosquitoes (but not that many 😊).

Hello! We're a family of four, including two wonderful children aged 10 and 11. Our kids are incredibly sweet, kind, and very safety-conscious. They have a love for hiking and soccer, truly embodying the spirit of outdoor enthusiasts!
Both my partner and I work from home in the field of development, which gives us the flexibility to travel while still keeping up with work commitments. We're passionate about hiking and exploring new destinations. In fact, we've already embarked on two exhilarating trips around the world, fueling our love for adventure and discovery.
Together, we cherish the opportunities to explore nature, experience new cultures, and create lasting memories as a family.
If we travel in Canada or USA , we might have our dog Nami with us :) she is a carpet dog , and sleep most of the day . she is well educated .
People Like Us is the world's most trusted home exchange community. We believe in sharing, trust, generosity, respect, communication, equality, cooperation, honesty, hospitality, friendship, flexibility and adventure. We take pride in our homes and we care about the environment in which we live: our village, city, country and our planet. We care about the ethos of home exchange and we do it because we love the experience and the friendships that it generates.
