General overview
Our 1000 sq ft home sits on 1.5 acres in the city of Leavenworth but is adjacent to National Forest. It’s close enough to walk or bike to downtown but feels immersed in nature. We’ve seen bears, deer, bobcats, and cougars in our backyard depending on the time of year. There’s a beautiful view from the porch that gets morning sun for that first cup of coffee.

We are Madhu, Ellie, Sage (7 y.o), and Chip. We’re a very active family and love hiking, biking, rock climbing, skiing and surfing. Madhu has a passion for paragliding. We live in a small Bavarian-themed town in Washington state on the east side of the North Cascades mountain range. And we love to travel!
