General overview
Welcome to our cozy Cotswolds retreat, surrounded by nature. We're an hour from Birmingham and Bristol, and two hours from London and Manchester, perfect for day trips.
Our home in Cheltenham offers stunning scenery making it a delightful destination.. It's perfect for families, featuring my son's room filled with toys and a large garden for outdoor fun. There's also a bus stop just a minute's walk away that takes you directly to the city center, where endless fun awaits!
We live opposite a secondary school, so it can be busy around 9 am and 3:15 pm for about 10 minutes during the school term. However, if you visit in August, the area is very quiet as everyone is on holiday. Enjoy the peace and charm of our special home, ideal for kids and adults or couples!
The space
Our home features two bedrooms: one with a single bed and another with a double bed. Additionally, we have an inflatable bed available for extra children. Upstairs, there's a full bathroom with both a bath and shower, as well as an airing cupboard stocked with towels and bed sheets.
Downstairs, the spacious joint dining and living room features a dining table for family meals, and the cozy kitchen includes a cupboard with cleaning supplies. We also have colouring & painting for the children.
We have a very large garden, with the grass area currently useable. We're in the process of having a patio laid by the porch doors. There is a walkway from the kitchen to the garden, ensuring easy access.
Guest access
Our home has two floors and two front doors with color-coded keys.
Notes
We kindly ask that you water our lovely hanging plants every three days—one in the living room and one in the kitchen.
We don't use microwaves in our home, but we have an air fryer and oven available for heating food if needed!
Also we have two large clothes airers that we dry our clothes on either in the house or outside when it’s warm!
And we have a baby tricycle we use to take to the park that you can use & a drive way.

Neighbourhood
Our peaceful village has a bus stop a minute away with frequent city center buses. Pubs, a restaurant, and grocery stores are a 12-minute walk, and a park is 5 minutes away. Cleeve Hill, great for sunset walks, is a 5-minute drive. Driving is handy for exploring further.
Getting to my home
The nearest airports are Birmingham and Bristol. From Bristol, take a bus to the train station, a train to Cheltenham Spa, then a taxi or bus. From Birmingham, it's a train to Birmingham New Street, then to Cheltenham Spa, and a taxi or bus. Having a car simplifies travel!

I'm a single mother with a lovely little two-year-old son who will be three in September! Eager to explore together before he starts school. We love adventures and making memories.
I'm currently seeking a home exchange in the Netherlands, especially around Christmas and New Year's, as it's a place dear to our hearts. I'm flexible with the duration of the stay and would even love the opportunity for a hospitality visit.
Very much open to anywhere also!
"Around Christmas time would be amazing too, it’s like a second home to us"
