Neighbourhood

Our home is in a village in the Apokoronas region in Crete, a popular area for tourists. We are 30 minutes East of Chania. The closest beach is about a 15-20 minute drive. Vamos, the largest town in the region, is a 10 minute drive. Crete's famous beaches are all around. There is fabulous hiking in our area. This is the place for you if you're planning a Greek trip and enjoy outdoor activities.

Nearest airport

The nearest airport is Chania. The airport in Heraklion is about a 90 minute drive away

Getting Around

There are minimarkets and tavernas in the village and all within easy walking distance. There are more amenities in the town of Vamos, which is about a 10 minute drive away. The city of Chania has all the shops, restaurants and other amenities that would be expected in a European city.
