General overview
Our home is a newly built 3BR home with views of the mountains from every window! It's our primary home and built to be warm, welcoming and to take advantage of the amazing scenery around us.
Our house is at the end of a little lane and connects to the village and the rest of Jack's with a path through the reserve in front of our yard. We have young kids so we have a trampoline, books and toys, and the paths are super safe for the kids to ride bikes and scooter on.
The space
All three bedrooms are on the ground floor: the master BR has a king sized bed and en suite; next door is the kids' room with a bunk bed. Down the hall is the third bedroom with a queen sized bed and full bathroom. There is also an office and laundry on the ground floor.
Upstairs is where the views are best and that's where the living areas are! It's open plan kitchen/dining/lounge with a WC as well. The living opens out into a deck that faces west for amazing sunsets and long summer evenings.
In winter, the downstairs has underfloor heating, and upstairs there is a heat pump and wood burner. In summer, there is an air conditioner upstairs.
