Our home located in The Patch, a small town of in the Dandenong Ranges surrounded by stunning scenery, tourist attractions and national parks. We are located one hours drive from Melbourne CBD. Local attractions include the local tourist villages of Kallista, Olinda and Sassafras and the Puffing Billy Railway. We are also a short 30min drive from the Yarra Valley wine region.

The Space

We have a beautiful, spacious, light-filled home with four bedrooms spread across two levels. Upstairs, you'll find the kitchen, dining area, two lounge spaces, a bathroom, and three bedrooms with the following configurations: a king bed, a double bunk, and a cot. Downstairs, there's a versatile rumpus room/home office area and a guest bedroom with a queen bed and separate bathroom. We also have a bright deck and a lovely backyard. As a family of five with three small children, our home is equipped with plenty of toys and books for little ones to enjoy

Our home is spread across two levels, with the main living area and bedrooms upstairs, accessible through the front door, which has three large steps. The property is located on a gently sloped block, so guests will need a good level of physical mobility to safely navigate our home

Neighbourhood

Our closet township is Monbulk, which has two supermarkets, cafes, restaurants and everything you need for a comfortable stay. We are also walking distance to The Patch Store, a local cafe and general store, which is popular with locals.

Getting to my home

Public transport is available, with local buses servicing the area. The nearest train station is in Belgrave, where you can catch the Belgrave line train directly from Melbourne CBD. From Belgrave station, there are connecting buses that drop you less than 500 meters from our home—though please note there is a small hill to walk up along the way. For those driving, we have plenty of parking available

Getting Around

The closest bus stop is just a short five-minute walk from our home, with a quick 2-3 minute bus ride to our nearest town, Monbulk. This makes it easy to explore the local area even without a car. We are also within easy travelling distance to Kallista and Belgrave.
