The house is located on an island north of Stockholm, but road and bridges all the way. Countryside and closeness to the woods and the sea. The place is best in the very late spring, summer, early fall or snowy winters. Unfortunately the winters are getting more and more unpredictable, which is the reason I recommend other times of the year to visit, but if you really want to, it will most likely be available. A snowy winter day is beautiful! A rainy... not so.
NB! For daily sightseeing in Stockholm, this house is too far away. This is another vacation.
If you will be staying for more than a few days, we recommend renting a car to be able to move around in a bit bigger circles. Still, we come here by local transport (bus) from Stockholm, as we have got a bus stop right by our house, due to the former owner, who lived here permanently, being a teacher and carried plenty of books everyday. . 10 minutes walk to the closest grocery store. We have two adult bikes and three junior bikes for you to use.
