Neighbourhood
We are in the Northern Beaches of Cairns and are a short drive or bike ride to several beaches. We have many creeks, waterfalls and national parks around us and we have easy access to the surrounding islands, the Great Barrier Reef, Daintree Rainforest and all that tropical Australia has to offer.
There are several restaurants close by and many others through the greater area.
A 45 min drive up the coast (completely hugging the coastline with gorgeous ocean views the whole way!) is Port Douglas, filled to the brim with delicious food and shops.
Nearest airport
Cairns International Airport is 20 mins away by car.
Getting Around
We can ride our bikes to the local shops, there is public transport, but it is best to have a car to make the most of the area.

We are a family of five, half Swiss, half Australian. We are homeschoolers who travel as much as we can in both Australia and the rest of the world. We currently call Far North Queensland in Australia home, enjoying everything the tropics has to offer.
